Disturbing Video Shows Moment Officers Suffer Blade Attacks in Surprise Attack

One police sergeant who rushed to the assistance of a fellow officer who was ambushed by a blade-wielder received the King's Commendation for Courage.

Sergeant Tim Ansell struggled against 27-year-old Jacob Brown following he placed a knife to the throat of his fellow officer Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown initiated the assault as the law enforcement personnel and their colleague, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver subsequent to a road collision in that location in July 2023.
