Hurt Sesko to Miss Slovenian National Team Matches but United Optimistic of Swift Comeback

Forward Sesko will be absent from the Slovenian national team's forthcoming matches against Kosovo and Sweden due to a knee problem sustained during the latest match against Tottenham. However, Manchester United remains hopeful that he might be back in time to face Everton following the international break.

Injury Particulars and Timeline

The attacker was substituted after 87 minutes of the Saturday 2-2 stalemate against Spurs having been brought on on 58 minutes replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Coach Ruben Amorim voiced worry post-match, leading to Sesko's withdrawal from the Slovenia national team.

The club will carry out further tests at their Carrington facility in the coming days, but initial assessments point to a potential return ahead of the Everton scheduled for November 24th.

Other Team News

Maguire and Casemiro also had to leave the field during the Spurs encounter. Although Maguire's status is yet to be determined, it is understood that Casemiro is available and has reported for international duty with Brazil.

Lisandro Martínez, who has been sidelined after suffering a knee issue in February, will join Argentina at their training base in Europe. However, the center-back won't play in the Friday exhibition match against Angola in Luanda. A staff member of the club's performance team will accompany Martínez, who has lately resumed work with the first-team group.
