The veteran has now hit 23 total post-season home runs, ranking him third all-time behind Ramirez (29) and Altuve (twenty-seven).
"It's hard to imagine anyone else anywhere that I'd prefer in that moment other than him with his post-season brilliance," noted Schneider.
Seattle, who had led the series 2-0 and 3-2, are still the one club that has never reached in a championship series.
Mariners manager Dan Wilson stated "certainly that it's painful" after his club's elimination at their home ballpark, but commended their performance this season.
"It's a special team. Sadly that we finished on the wrong side of this game," he added.
The Blue Jays won the championship on their two prior appearances in the early 90s, and are set to host the Los Angeles in game one on the upcoming Friday.
